Obituary of David Brian LittleRaven

David LittleRaven Born in San Pedro, CA on 3/11/1955, died 12/7/2008 at age 53. Preceded in death by parents Troy & Alberta LittleRaven. Survived by loving wife of 29 years Cathy, son Leon, granddaughter "Princess" Jasmine, brothers Kris, Troy, Lyle (Stacy), Dennis (Sheila), Rory (Maize), sisters Barbara Beard, Kay Mackety, and Janis LittleRaven, along with numerous nephews and nieces. David was employed by the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma. He met and married his Puyallup Tribal Member wife Cathy who also worked at the Tribe. He had numerous friends in the Puyallup Tribal Community and considered himself an "honorary" tribal member. He enjoyed playing guitar with family and friends. He had a big smile, sense of humor and calmness that instantly drew people to him and resulted in lifelong friendships. A special thank you and recognition to the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribe and Puyallup Tribe for their generosity. A very special thank you's also go to longtime friends/family: Roleen Hargrove, Ruth Gallo-Paul, Marie Stafford, Katherine Pilot, Jonathan White, Dennis LittleRaven for always "being there" for us. There are too many "thank you's" to list, so we thank the whole tribal community for their thoughts and offers of assistance and support.
