Obituary of Laura Elizabeth LaBrecque

Laura Elizabeth Labrecque born January 27, 1926 in Mandan North Dakota passed away February 16, 2009 in Tacoma. Laura was a devoted wife and mother. She put her heart and soul into raising her children. Music was her passion. Laura was a professional soloist. She was in the Tacoma Little Theater production of the Sound of Music. She recorded with the Leighton Noble Orchestra. She will be remembered for singing at church and various civic events throughout the Tacoma area over the last fifty years. Laura will be missed more than words can express. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Katherina Reis, five brothers and one sister. Survived by her loving husband Andrew, her seven children Kathy (Terry) Stewart, Janet Campbell, Bob (Diane) Labrecque, Don Labrecque, Gary (Jill) Labrecque, Patti (Casey) Custer, Michael Labrecque, eleven grandchildren: Jason (Ashley) Stewart, Kathryn (Jason) Mikeworth, Debbie Campbell, Scott Campbell, Autumn Labrecque, Todd (Angela) Labrecque, Brian (Rachel) Labrecque, Amanda Labrecque, Allie Labrecque, Bryce Custer, Cara Custer, nine great grandchildren Jacinda Stewart, Alecia Mikeworth, China Toler, Keoni Campbell, Cameron Campbell, Andrew Labrecque, Zander Labrecque, Jacob Labrecque, Abigail Labrecque. Funeral Services will be at St Ann Catholic church 7001 S Park Avenue, Tacoma, on February 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Ann Catholic Church or your favorite charity.
