Obituary of Betty Jean Howland

Betty Jean Howland has gone to meet the Lord. Born August 16, 1942 in Hawaii, she peacefully passed on September 19, 2008 at the Franciscan Hospice House in University Place. She now goes to meet with her father and brother and several close friends that have gone on before her. Betty is survived by her husband, Ralph, seven children John, Steven, Terese, Catherin, Matthew, Michelle, and Michael. She has two sisters Patricia and Kathleen and her mother Thelma to carry on for her. Her fishing buddies will all miss her humor and love of the sport. As will sister Carol with whom Betty avidly collected miniature mice. Her memorial service will be held at Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
