Obituary of Donald L. Grimsey

Donald L. Grimsey Our father, mentor, and friend reunited with family and friends in Heaven on April 4th at the age of 67. Donny was born in Thomas Burrell, Ill. in 1940, moved to Tacoma in 1958 where he met his life long love Linda A Hubbard. They married on April 25th 1959. They started a wonderful 49 year journey, having 5 children. Jerry (Diane) Grimsey, John (Susan) Grimsey, Glenda Groefsema, Kim (David) Shaul, and Dawn Lewis. He enjoyed 18 grandchildren and 16 great grand children, and two wonderful dogs, Heidi and Doolittle. Dad lived a full and special life with his family, friends, and pets. He will be deeply missed. A special thank you to Franciscan Hospice for all your loving support and help. The family has chosen not to have services at this time.
