John L. Ginnis was a man that was beloved by all. He is survived by his wife of 58yrs (Jimmie) Ruth Ginnis. Grandchildren~ Carolyn & Stephanie, Great-grandchildren~ Bryant, Jeffery, & Shelby, and numerous nieces & nephews. In his younger years he was a longshoreman at the Port of Tacoma, then was drafted into the Army at the end of WWII, where he was a clerk. After his job in the Army, he went to work at Consolidated Freightways, where he worked for 41yrs and retired. Though he didn't swim or fish, he had a love for the water & moved to Wollechet Bay, where he enjoyed living for 43yrs. He also loved dogs and greeted all the neighborhood pups with a biscuit with every visit! He had an amazing sense of humor, and despite Alzheimers, he kept up the one-liners till the very end. He was one of the kindest men anyone could ever meet and will truly be missed. Please donate to either the American Heart Association or the Alzheimers Association in lieu of flowers.
