Alfredo (Fred) George Gasperetti Fred Gasperetti was born on April 19, 1936, and went to be with his Lord on March 13, 2009 at the age of 72. Fred will be remembered and cherished for his loyalty to family and friends. His strong work ethic began at the age of 9, when he worked for his father doing odd jobs such as selling flowers and delivering newspapers. Fred is survived by his wife Shirley, daughters Laura Myers and Cynthia Turco (Patrick), grandchildren Ashley Hundt (Peter) and Michael Myers, Dominic and Antonio Turco, 2 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Susanna Hundt, and sister Joanne Thomas (Ron). Fred had a life-long love of music, having participated in band at Clover Park High School. He was first chair saxophone the first year of the Washington All-State Band. Fred will also be remembered for his beautiful baritone voice, which he gladly volunteered as Cantor at St. Rita's Church, where he was a life-long member. Fred proudly served his country as a medic in the U.S. Air Force. He founded his company, Gasperetti's Distributing, in 1973. Fred grew Gasperetti's to be the number one distributor in the state. At the time of his death he was continuing to manage the company he loved. Rosary will be recited 6:30 PM Monday, 2/23/2009, at St. Rita's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday, 3/24/2009, at the church.
