I served with Lonnie at England AFB Louisiana fr9m 1983-84, best boss I ever had. He took me to his childhood home.in Slidell and I met his extended family. RIP Lonnie, you are never forgotten l.

I served with MSgt Galatas at FT Lewis. A story I still tell of him is when we had a bbq and one of the soldiers brought Insanity Sauce. No one could take the heat but he poured it on like it was ketchup. We had a fun time serving with him. I hope the family is doing well. God bless.

I met Lonnie in Philippines. We experienced Mt pinatubo eruption together. Following eruption, as the base recovered so did his fellows with addiction . He helped many in recovery

My sympathy goes out to the family of my long time friend, Lonnie... I only became aware of the passing of my friend on yesterday (January 12, 2012) through his brother Carl. I was deeply saddened to hear that he was gone. Lonnie and I shared many laughs and good times together, but not so much in recent times, since our paths took us in different directions. Wanda, I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I didn't know that he was so ill. I saw him just a couple of years ago when I was in Slidell. I guess his illness came about after that, as he seemed fine at that time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Patricia
