Obituary of Dolores Essensa

Dee passed away October 13, 2009 in the comfort of her home following an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, Joe Essensa, her family and her friends. She was a devoted mother to son Joey and daughter Jodee. Dee was a special grandmother to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dee was also survived by her brothers Louie and Donnie, as well as her sister Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her sister Verna. A family graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 18, 2009 followed by a public celebration of life at the Tenino Elementary School Gym at 1:00 p.m. Instead of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Dolores Essensa Memorial Scholarship fund at O Bee Credit Union, 3900 Cleveland Ave SE, Tumwater WA 98501.
