Family of Tony.... I will keep all of you in my prayers. I moved to Tacoma from a small town and was enrolled at Hunt Jr. High. I was scared to death! Tony was one of the first people to say hello to me and was truly so kind to me. In fact, he always made it a point to say hello and ask me how I was doing. Because Tony showed that kindness to me, it made me feel better about myself and helped me open up. When I went on to Wilson I had an absolute blast and had a ton of friends. I never forgot Tony's kindness to me and tried to be like that to many shy kids just looking for a friend to say hi to in the halls. He has forever been special in my memories, because of what he helped to bring out in me without ever really knowing it. I always wanted to share that story with him, but I now will with his family. He may not even of remembered me or what he did, but that does not matter. What does matter is Tony 's life had purpose and helped shaped my life to have purpose, too. A few random acts of kindness by a man who now I am sure has beautiful wings of an Angel. God Bless Tony and all of his family. He made a difference.
