Obituary of Elfriede Harting Campbell

Elfriede Harting Campbell passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2011, at the age of 87, at the Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community. Elfriede was born on July 31, 1924, in Gladbeck, Germany. She was a loving mother and devoted wife to her husband William Campbell, who passed away in 1998. Elfriede is survived by her daughter Alice and husband Heinz and grandchildren Erika and Nicole; her daughter Theresia Pritchett and grandsons Michael and Patrick; her daughter Heidi and husband Steve and grandchildren Scott, Douglas and Stephanie; her son William and wife Aida and grandchildren Jessica and Heather and their mother Cathy; and granddaughter Daniel; her son Detlef-Juergen, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community, at 1301 N. Highlands Parkway, Tacoma, on Sunday, August 14, at 10:30 AM.
