Obituary of Frank R. Bunn

Frank R.Bunn (Maj. Ret) 10-10-1916 - 06-12-2009 Frank passed away quietly at his home in Spanaway with his family at his side. He was born in Newark, New Jersey. He served in the United States Army during WWII (Pacific Theater)10th Mountain detachment and received a bronze star in the Korean War. A lifelong member of Elks Lodge 62, Elmira, New York. His love of golf was only surpassed by his love of skiing, instructing over twenty years. He lived a remarkable life and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Florence "Sorney", daughters Nancy (Dobler), Susan (Anderson), Karen (Stubbs), Janet Bunn, and grandchildren, Jennifer, Lena, Mallorie, and Bailey. Internment will be at the National Memorial Cemetary. At Frank's request there will not be a public memorial service, but the family wishes you would leave memories and condolences on this website.
