Obituary of Betty L. Brazil
Betty L. Brazil (June 7, 1930 - October 11, 2007)
Betty Brazil, left us to join her beloved husband, Glen on October 11, 2007. Although she spent most of her life in Tacoma Washington, she was born on June 7th 1930 in St Louis, Mo. to Joseph and Mable Ebert. She came to Tacoma in 1945 to visit relatives and met the "Love of her life" Glen J. Brazil. They were soon married and started a long and loving life together. South Tacoma was always their home. Betty and Glen have 3 children. Glenn Jr, of Auburn, married to Venishia, Terry of Des Moines WA, married to Vicki, and Dorothy of Tacoma. Betty has one sister, Patricia Church of Alton Illinois. Betty and Glen were blessed with 12 Grand children and 24 Great Grandchildren. They include; Joe & Kim Brazil of Yelm with Joey and Alex Allison and Buddy Clark of Renton with Ainsley Adam Beller of Puyallup Suzanne and Melvin Brazil-Geyshick of Minnesota with Jessica, Samantha, Asiah, and Melvin jr Becky Brazil of Auburn with Ashley and Nathanial Cleet and Korena Brazil of Puyallup with Skyla and Austin Tracy Brazil and Kenny Marvin of Federal Way with Kyle and Joey Bobby and Tina Hull of Vancouver WA with Brandy, Bailey, Brittney, and Madison Robyn Fualii of Las Vegas with Loren and Jordan Dan and Nikki Keller of Des Moines with Alissa and Daniel Karri Keller of Des Moines with Olivia Kristin and Greg Bentler of Seattle with Annie and Julia She loved them all!!!
Betty enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo, Bowling, shopping at Fred Meyers and driving her RED truck. She always loved talking to people whether she knew them or not, especially if they had children! She loved everyone and brightened their day with a smile.
Betty lived in her home on 63rd & Thompson Ave. for 45 years where she always kept an eye on what was going on in the neighborhood. She knew everyone on the block and they knew her. It was hard to pass by with out a "Hello" from her.
